Creating your own foods

You can add your own foods by filling in the key nutrition information in the "create my food" section.

Nutrition info

You can view detailed nutrition info for foods by clicking on the item.  This provides detailed information surrounding fat profile, carb profile, micronutrients and food allergies.

Additional diary functionality

Once you have a few days of data, you will also want to have a look at your trends.  These trends can help show you your eating habits, like do you snack between meals, or are you eating too many carbs.

You will want to review these trends and start to make small adjustments to your eating habits to help get you on a more sustainable trajectory.

Logging food

A user can quickly and easily add and log food in the diary section by clicking on the "LOG FOOD" button.  The user will be taking to the food database where, they can search for foods, view portion sizes, create their own foods and more.  Check it out here.

Edit, copy, delete food entries

The app has been designed for simple use.  To edit, delete or copy a food item, simply swipe left on the food item then tap the relevant action menu.

Searching for food

There are a number of actions you can undertake in the food database.  You can use the barcode scanner to find items, search for a food item in the database, view portion sized pictures and create your own meals.
